Jose Enrique Parrilla

Jose Enrique Parrilla, age 84, of Berwick, passed away on Sunday August 18, 2025 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on September 3, 1940 in Juncos, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Marcelo Parrilla and Ventura Feliciano. He was a graduate of Samuel Gompers High School in Bronx, NY.

Jose was a pattern maker for Happy Todds in New York.

He was an avid golfer. He played at Arnold’s Golf Course and won several senior tournaments.

Jose was preceded in death by a daughter, Janis Parrilla.

Surviving are his four children: Jose Ernesto Parrilla, wife Anna Cecelia, of Carmel, NY, Leslie Parrilla, of Berwick, Carlos Parrilla, and his wife Jill, of Martinsburg, and Alysha Parrilla, of Lewistown; son-in-law, Thomas Dorsey, of Lansdowne; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and four siblings: Jose Roig, of Gainesville, FL, Rosa Inez Perez, Mary, wife of Antonio Arzuaga, and Migdalia Santana, all of Puerto Rico.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
