Joan M. (Roloson) Senior

Joan M. (Roloson) Senior, age 86 of Chestnut St., Nescopeck, died peacefully on Monday morning June 9, 2025 with her family by her side.

Born on October 14, 1938 in Lords Valley, Pike County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Mary (Pedley) Roloson. She resided in Nescopeck since 1961 and was a homemaker.

Joan enjoyed baking and what she referred to as “clanking heads” of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Loyd, on July 6, 2024 and a daughter-in-law, Denise Rough, on February 5, 2021.

Surviving is her companion of 39 years, Harold Blakeslee, who resided with her; three children: Kenneth Parks, and his wife Faye, of Manchester, Tennessee, Nancy Fultz, of Nescopeck, and Ronnie Rough, and his wife Tracy, of Berwick; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren; sister, Diane Remley, of Kunkletown; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Commonwealth Hospice and their nurses for their care and concern.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
