Joan A. Latta, age 79, 1911 Brush Valley Road, Sunbury, died at her home at 12:25 p. m. Sunday, July 13, 2014 after an illness.
Born on September 18, 1934 in Trenton, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Doris (Riggs) Latta.
Joan resided in Pennsylvania since 1972 and previously lived in Trenton. She was employed by Sun-Com Industries, Northumberland for 40 years, retiring in 2013.
She was a member of Christ Weslyan Church, Milton.
Surviving are a sister, Susan Rudy, Kreamer; a brother, David E. Latta, and his wife Connie, Feasterville; two nieces; one nephew; and a great niece.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
