Jeri Gaye (Fritz) Gosciminski, age 77, of Bloomsburg passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was the beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was born on August 23, 1944 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Lillian (Frey) Fritz and resided in Bloomsburg her entire life. She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1963.

Jeri enjoyed spending her time going to yard sales, flea markets, bus trips to New York City and Washington, D. C., the Bloomsburg Fair, as well as reading a good book and doing word puzzles.

Earlier in life she was heavily involved along with her husband in Little League baseball. She was also a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 25, assisted with Boy Scout Troop 21 and the Bloomsburg American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 273. Jeri was a follower of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald W. Gosciminski, Sr. on December 7, 2011.

Surviving is her son, Ronald W. Gosciminski, Jr. and his companion Melissa Eisenhour, of Coal Township. a daughter, Pamela Moreno and her companion Lee Crouse, of Bloomsburg; a grandson, Mitchell Dean Levan and his companion Lucas Fetterman, of Bloomsburg; two brothers: Frank J. Fritz, Jr., of Bloomsburg and Gary L. Fritz and his wife Anna Mae, of Danville; a sister, Lynn Evans, Catawissa and several nieces and nephews.

She will be immensely missed by her family and friends. Everyone who knew her loved her, especially the people that she waited on while working as a waitress at the former Texas Lunch and Hi-Ho restaurant.

At her request, there will be no funeral services or viewing.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
