Jeremy E. Clemens

Jeremy E. Clemens, age 36, of Smith Street, Bloomsburg died unexpectedly at his home on Monday October 30, 2023.

Born in Newport News, Virginia on June 13, 1987, he was the son of Daniel W. Clemens of Danville and Sonya Y. Jenkins of Newport News, Virginia.

Jeremy resided in Danville much of his life and was a 2005 graduate of Danville High School. In school he was a member of the wrestling team.

He served with the U. S. Marine Corps from September 6, 2006 until September 5, 2011 and served a tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his grandmothers, Naomi Clemens of Danville and Shirley Jenkins of Norfolk, Virginia; two brothers, Daniel Jenkins and his wife Stephanie, and Travis Clemens, all of Newport News and two sisters,  Sarah Clemens and Kenya Clemens, both of Newport News.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a. m.
