Jennilou A. (Hartzell) Davis

Jennilou A. (Hartzell) Davis, age 66, of Benton, passed away on Tuesday June 2, 2026 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville after a lengthy illness.

Born on July 8, 1959 in Middletown, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Jack and June A. (Bartholomew) Hartzell.

Earlier in her life, Jennilou was employed as a security officer for a power plant in Connecticut. She also worked for the Benton borough street department.

Jennilou enjoyed genealogy, crafting, coloring on her tablet, and visiting her brother in Connecticut. She was also an avid shark advocate.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Hartzell and John Hartzell.

Surviving is her husband, Douglas C. Davis, with whom she celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on April 29, 2026; daughter, Gabrielle Gombert, of Berwick; grandson, Logan Cherrington, of Berwick; granddaughter, Layla Cherrington, of Berwick; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

At Jennilou’s request, there will be no services.
