Jeffrey A. Whitmire

Jeffrey A. Whitmire, age 56, 34 Cemetery Road, Berwick, died at 6:35 a. m. Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care Center, Bloomsburg, where he was a patient since September 19, 2017.

Born in Berwick on January 14, 1961, he was a son of Joan M. (Thomas) Harmon, Berwick and the late Zane Whitmire.

He was a lifelong resident of the Berwick area and attended the Berwick Schools.  

Jeff was employed by Berwick Offray for over 30 years and was a supervisor at the time of his illness.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Michael Whitmire and Lonnie Whitmire.

Surviving in addition to his mother, are  his step father, Martin Harmon, Berwick,  a sister, Bonnie Knolla,  Couer D Alene, Idaho and a brother, Randy Whitmire, Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

It was Jeff's request that there be no funeral service or viewing.

A private interment will be made in Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick .

Arrangements  have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
