Jeffery Andrew Bates

Jeffery Andrew Bates, age 31, of 1738 Bloom Road, Danville died on Monday, January 16, 2023 in an automobile accident on I-80 in Tunkhannock Township Monroe County.

He was born in Camden, New Jersey on August 24, 1991.

Jeffrey was a 2009 graduate of Southern Area High School and was currently enrolled at Northampton Community College. He previously served with the  U. S. Air Force.

Jeffrey attended the gym on a daily basis to work out.

Surviving are his parents, James and Angela Wells of Danville, six siblings: Shane Wells of Shamokin, Joshua Wells of Catawissa, Benjamin Wells and his wife Miranda of Berwick, Victoria Hairston of Catawissa, Brandon Stadler of Berwick, Christopher Cooper and his wife Jessica of Philadelphia and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg. Friends may call from 1-2 p. m.. Military honors will be provided by the combined VFW and American Legion Honor Guard.
