Jared Austin Mowery

Jared Austin Mowery, age 23, of Danville, passed on Monday, April 8, 2024 at UPMC Hospital in Williamsport. 

Jared was born on May 14, 2000 in Williamsport to Bruce Mowery of Danville and Heather Woodring of Jersey Shore.

Jared graduated from Danville High School in 2018, having competed in football, baseball, and track and field.  Most recently, he was employed by Lobar, Inc of Dillsburg.  

Jared was known by all for his infectious smile and gregarious nature. His friends noted that he was always there for them, no matter the circumstances.  

Jared enjoyed spending time at the family farm in Cleveland Township, Columbia County, tending to the land and hunting upon it.  

He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers.

Jared is survived by his father, Bruce Mowery of Danville and his partner Angela Muth of Mechanicsburg, his mother, Heather Woodring of Jersey Shore, his brother, Bradley Mowery of Tampa, Florida, his grandmother, Tylene Thompson, of Jersey Shore, and his love, Jacey Kleintob, of Sweet Valley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville, with pastor Rocky Bonomo, of the Sweet Valley Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in the Numidia Valley Bible Fellowship Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 p.m.
