Jane C. McHenry

Jane C. McHenry, age 71, of 6465 Main Street, Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge), died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Bloomsburg on November 19, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Clarence W. and Grace L. (Hess) Hopper. A 1962 graduate of Central Columbia High School, Jane resided in Espy all her life until moving to Lime Ridge in 1967.

She worked for  H. A. Berkheimer Associates in their Berwick office for 33 years, retiring in 2008.

In her spare time, Jane liked to read and solve puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Edward T. McHenry, Jr. on October 20, 2003; and by a brother, Charles Hopper.

Surviving is a daughter, Sandra K. Blessing, Bloomsburg; a son, Edward T. McHenry, III, and his wife Barbara, Orangeville; a granddaughter, Auburn A. Blessing, Bloomsburg; and four sisters: Evelyn Krum and Helen Learn, both of Bloomsburg; Mary Bordt, Little Egg Harbor, N.J.; and Lois Williams, Bloomsburg.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
