James P. "Jimmy" Yengo

James P. "Jimmy" Yengo, age 64, of Numidia Dr., Catawissa, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday January 24, 2026 at his home.

Born on January 22, 1962 in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Alphonso and Angela (Dobert) Yengo.

Jimmy served in the U.S. Navy.

He was a truck driver for most of his life.

Jimmy loved watching movie and tv shows, especially The Soprano’s. He was also an excellent handyman.

Surviving are his four children, Bryonie Heath, of Binghamton, New York, James Caban, of Gordon, Pennsylvania, Nicole, wife of Sean Doyle, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Michael A. Yengo, and his fiancé GiGi Umstead, of Morton, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Gerrie, wife of John Wazniak, of Manchester, New Jersey; and brother, William Yengo, of Egg Harbor, New Jersey.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
