James S. Brown, age 64, of Orangeville, passed away on Thursday July 10, 2025 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born on July 27, 1960, in Charlottesville, Virginia, he was the son of the late Arther S. and Lorraine (Wolford) Brown. James was a graduate of Southern Columbia High School.
He was last employed by the former J.M. Smucker Company in Bloomsburg.
James enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and feeding wildlife. He also enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together; he could do almost anything with his hands. James cherished the time he spent with his children. A kind soul with a heart of gold, he loved to help people, especially those in need.
Surviving is his wife, Jennifer A. (Cox) Brown; 10 children: Steven M. Brown, Susan L. (Bradley)Pilkerton, Andrew (Celeste) Brown, Morgana L. (Scott) Slodysko, Eugraine J. Brown, Kabe A. (Bianca)Brown, Kyra L. (Jon)Brown, Weston T. ( Brittany)Cox, Morganne E. ( Josh) Cox, and Brittany J. (Steve) Cox; Thirteen grandchildren: Xavier AJ Snyder, Noah Bess, Christopher Snyder, Jacob Snyder,Kylah Pilkerton,Lindsay Brown, and Dillion Brown, Kaleb McManus, Isabella McManus, Irelynn Britton, Noah Wallish, Asher Brown; son-in-law, Chris Snyder; six siblings: Anthony “Tony” (Betty), Randall, Sharon (Bill) Cornellia “Corny” (Bob), Theresa (Ray)and Jay Clossen (Tammy); Step father Paul Clossen; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
