Guestbook

I was thinking of Howard today; for no reason in particular he came to my mind. He had a room across from my dad's at Emmanuel and I often visited him and always enjoyed chatting with him. I looked up his obituary and just watched the very nice tribute video. Not sure if anyone will see this as it's been almost 6 years ago since his passing, but wanted to let you know that he was being thought of remembered fondly.

I was looking online this evening, to see if Howard was still living in Bloomsburg. I was shocked to find out that he had passed, on the day after my birthday. I consider Howard to be a very good friend, though we have not spoken in quite a few years. Howard was one of the folks who made my stay at Bloomsburg University such a pleasure. Howard and I spent a lot of time laughing about life and our senses of humor mirrored each other. He was a joy to be around. He has a wonderful family, who he adored. Judy and the kids brought so much pleasure to his life and he to theirs. I was fortunate to spend time with them, through my work with the YMCA Elementary Basketball program. Remember the All-Star trip to Pottstown? We all had a lot of fun. Howard was a remarkable businessman. I remembered talking to him about obtaining funds for his business and him laughing about the absurdity of attempting to borrow that much money, but had the confidence in himself and the concern for the community to attempt such a monumental task. The world has lost a good one! Rest in peace my friend. You added a lot to the quality of my life and to many others, Im certain.

Judy, Tracie and Jeffrey find peace and solace in the memories of a wonderful husband, father and friend. He loved you all dearly. God bless you all during this difficult time.

To all of Howard's family, we would like to express our deepest sympathy and sorrow for your loss. Howard was a great friend since childhood and the memories of so much fun ( and some mischief ) will be treasured forever. As adults I always looked forward for his visits to Connecticut. It would always be enjoyable, interesting and more fun. I will truly miss him but I know he is in God's loving arms. Sheila would like to add that although she has known both Howard and Judy only for a short time, they have touched her life deeply and will always be in her heart of prayers. We love you Howard.
