Helen E. Watson

Helen E. Watson, age 85, of Central Ave., Berwick, passed away on Monday May 18, 2026 at her home under the care of Compassus Hospice.

Born on April 13, 1941 in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Marian (Harmon) Gingher. Helen was a 1959 graduate of Berwick High School. She obtained a certificate in Homeopathy from Rosemont College. She also received a teacher’s license from Empire Beauty School in Hazleton.

Helen resided in Berwick for most of her life. She also resided in Lansdale for 10 years, during which she practiced Reflexology. She spoke at two fairs at Temple University on Alternative Medicine. Helen thoroughly enjoyed providing massage therapy.

She was a longtime member of the Berwick chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She transferred to the Lansdale chapter while she resided there. Helen loved her dogs, Patches and Shiloh.

Surviving are her husband, Robert B. Waston, with whom she celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on October 7, 1986; son, James Oram, and his wife Donna, of Berwick; daughter, Desiree’ Brown, of Berwick; granddaughter, Stacia Schegler; grandson, Nicholas Oram; two great-granddaughters; dearest cousin, Marian Hummel, of Bethlehem; and caregivers, Michelle and Aaron Riddle.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
