Harry A. Lewis

Harry A. Lewis, age 54, of 50 Buckhorn Road, Bloomsburg, passed away at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville at 8:56 p. m. on Sunday evening, Feb. 27, 2022, after an illness.

Born at Geisinger Hospital on August 8, 1967, he was a son of the late David and Elizabeth (Magill) Lewis. He lived his entire life in the same house in Buckhorn and attended the Bloomsburg schools.

Harry was employed as a delivery truck driver by Steve Shannon Tire Co., for 28 years.

He enjoyed gathering scrap metals and disposing of them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Earl Lewis and Robin Lewis.

Harry is survived by his wife, the former, Lesley R. Blosser, with whom he celebrated their 26^th wedding anniversary on June 10, 2021, two sons, Jonathan T. Lewis and Evan J. Lewis, both living at home; three sisters: Gloria, wife of Leroy “Butch” Boudman, Bloomsburg, Alice, wife of Gene Walter, Bloomsburg, Elinor, wife of Richard Rogers, Shamokin; a brother, John Lewis, Bloomsburg and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 6 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg with Pastor Michael Woolcock, pastor of the Rohrsburg Christian Church officiating. Friends may call from 5 -6 P. M.

A memorial dinner will be held on Saturday at 3 p. m. in the Lightstreet Community Fire Hall, 1630 Monroe Ave., Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
