Glen M. Brown

Glen M. Brown, age 90, of 765 Maple Ridge Rd., Millville, passed away at The Gardens at Millville on Tuesday morning June 21, 2022. He had been a guest there since March 8.

Born in Millville on March 7, 1932, he was the son of the late John E. and Margaret E. (Christ) Brown. He was a lifelong resident of the Millville area and a 1950 graduate of Millville High School.

He owned J.E. Brown Garage at Pine Summitt for many years and also drove a school bus for the Millville School District for 30 years. In addition, he was a lifelong farmer, always owned horses, and had been a truck driver.

He was a member of the Moreland Baptist Church in Muncy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Linda Craver, on June 12, 2013; three brothers: Gordon Brown, Richard Brown, and Warren Brown; and an infant sister.

Surviving are his wife, the former Barbara Bulla, with whom he would have observed their 40th wedding anniversary on November 11, 2022; three children: Dawn, wife of James Eves, of Millville, David Brown, and his wife Laurie, of New Paltz, NY, and Debbie, wife of Glen Strausser, of Millville; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three stepchildren: Vicki, wife of Reginald Johnson, of Jerseytown, Valori, wife of Steven Beagle, of Millville, Edwin Strausser, and his wife, Annette, of Dadeville, AL; six step-grandchildren; and eleven step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Ann Kelchner, of Millville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m., June 26, 2022 at the Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Rd., Muncy, with his pastor, David Guenin, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Ikeler’s Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Twp.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Moreland Baptist Church at the above address.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
