Gerald H. DeFrain, Jr.

Gerald H. DeFrain, Jr., age 72, of Mill Street, Orangeville, died on Saturday, June 20, 2020,  at the Orangeville Manor where he resided for the last ten years.

Born in Nanticoke on June 26, 1947, he was the son of the late Gerald H. and Helen D. (Kibbler) DeFrain.

Gerald resided in Berwick for many years and was a 1965 graduate of Berwick High School.

He was employed at the former Consolidated Cigar Co. plant in Berwick before becoming disabled.

Gerald served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann DeFrain.

Surviving are four daughters: Mary Ann, wife of Dale McGann, Berwick, Theresa Lemons, Berwick, Christine, wife of Gerald Heim, California, Terri Baron, Berwick; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers: Robert A. DeFrain, and his wife Mary Kay and Ronald DeFrain, and his wife Judy, all of Bloomsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 2-4 p. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
