On behalf of the Susquehanna Valley Softball Umpires we wish to convey our deepest sympathy to Gary's wife, Pam and his entire grieving family. On a personal note, Gary was my friend and many times my umpire partner on the baseball and softball fields in the area. He traveled with us to many tournaments and was always fun to be around. I will miss him and I'm so very sorry that I didn't stay in closer contact with him the last few years.

I had the pleasure of umpiring many games with Gary, both baseball and softball. Not only was he a good umpire, he was a great person. I can't imagine you could find many who would say a bad word about him, even as an umpire. I am sorry for you loss. He was a great guy.

Mr. Sinnott was a very nice man and an excellent umpire. I recall him giving me encouragement and knowledgeable tips during the many games that I set up in front of him as a catcher. God Bless his family during this time.
