Franklin D. Roadarmel, age 80, of Mt. Pleasant Township, Bloomsburg died unexpectedly at his home early Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Born in Bloomsburg on September 11, 1946, he was a son of the late Edward H., Sr. and Ada E, (Hampton) Roadarmel. He resided in the Bloomsburg area most of his life and was a 1964 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Frank was employed by Penna. Power & Light Co. for 46 years, retiring in 2013. He worked several different jobs with PP & L and was a chemical specialist at the time of his retirement.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching NASCAR racing and football. His special time was telling stories to his grandchildren. He had a dog named Freyja and they enjoyed napping together.

Frank served his country as a member of the U. S. Army from November 1965 to November 1967.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Edward H. Roadarmel, Jr.

Frank is survived by his wife, the former Rita M. Auchter, with whom he observed their 57th wedding anniversary on October 25, 2025, by a daughter Rebecca wife of Andrew Gibbs who resided with them; three grandchildren: Blake Diaz and his wife Abigail of Mt. Carmel, Averi Diaz of Scranton and Garbriel Gibbs of Linden; and a sister Valerie Jean Fry of Bloomsburg.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Elan Memorial Park will follow with military honors by the U. S. Army and the combined veterans honor guard.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
