Frank E. Martz, age 78, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday September 10, 2026 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born on June 4, 1948 in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late Melvin E. and Dorothy (Davenport) Martz. A 1964 graduate of Bloomsburg High School, he spent most of his life in Bloomsburg.
Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a truck driver for several companies including Levan’s Cornucopia.
Frank was a member of the Valley of Bloomsburg Post 273 American Legion and the Bloomsburg VFW Post 804. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association.
Surviving is his son, Matthew Martz, of Alabama; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Melvin E. Martz, Jr., and his wife Jocile, of Catawissa and David W. Martz, of Berwick.
At his request, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
