Frances E. (Morgan) Albertson, 82, of Bloom Road, Danville passed away on Friday evening, September 12, 2025, at Geisinger Encompass Rehabilitation in Danville.

Born in Mayberry Township, Montour County on September 22, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Helen A. (Derr) Morgan. She resided in Columbia County most of her life and was a 1961 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Frances was employed by several garment factories including the former Emenee Shirt Co., in Catawissa. She was last employed at Weis Markets in Bloomsburg as assistant manager of the Deli before retiring.

She loved gardening, baking, especially cookies and making peanut butter fudge. In later years she enjoyed doing puzzles and coloring.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale Albertson, on July 23, 2017; a granddaughter, Emma Rae Fausnaught in 2000 and an infant sister, Sara Jane Morgan.

Frances is survived by three children: Janet Sutton of Orangeville, Carol wife of Robert Fausnaught with whom she resided, and Steve Albertson and his companion Tracy Traver of Benton; three grandchildren: Nicole wife of Jason Baker of Lehighton, Malisa Sutton of Catawissa, Avree Fausnaught of Danville; three great grandchildren: Jamyson Cotterman, Shayla Cotterman and Haven Baker; and three sisters: Catherine Morgan of Benton, Edna J. Morgan of Danville, Patricia wife of Eugene Albertson of Slatington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Elan Memorial Park with Rev. Gordon E. Smith pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
