Flint W. Kressler

Flint W. Kressler, age 51, Millville, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 at his home.

Born on May 9, 1968, in Mahoning Twp., he was the son of the late Jack S. and Ruth M. (Oman) Kressler. Flint was a 1986 graduate of Central Columbia High School and a lifelong resident of the area.

Flint was a well-known and respected mechanic and has been a partner of Kressler’s Service Station for many years. He was not only talented in repairing vehicles, but he could solve and fix mechanical problems that others would not even attempt. He went above and beyond helping friends, family and neighbors. His passing has created a huge void in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Sharon Harvey.

Surviving are four siblings: Fred W. Kressler, and his wife Iva, Bloomsburg, Cheryl V. “Vickie”, wife of Jeff Gaskill, Hot Springs Village, AR, Kathleen J., wife of Charles Hunsinger, Unityville, and Patricia G., wife of Robert Brewster, Orangeville; nine nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date which will be announced.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.

Flint was recommended to us by a friend who was already getting her car serviced at Flint's garage. So kind and caring and honest. Once didnt charge us because he wanted us to come back. And we did. Repeatedly. To Flints family and friends, our hearts ache for your loss and our deepest sympathies are with you as you struggle through this difficult time.

Thoughts and prayers to the Kressler and Harvey family. I would like to show the kind, caring, funny guy he was. He had erected a very large steel garage for me in return I traded him my 4 wheeler. He did the whole thing by himself. Sharon and I always tried to help but he said we were more a pain in the butt. He always had a big smile and would give you the shirt off his back. That is the man he was.

Flint was always going above and beyond in service, and always with a smile and determination to fix the problem. He was kind, polite, and caring. The kind of mechanic who would buy you a tire iron for Christmas so you didn't have to keep borrowing his! He will be greatly missed and always fondly remembered. My condolences to the family members he leaves behind. We all have a hole in our hearts that can't be filled.
