Eugenia D. Freas

Eugenia D. Freas, age 91, 160 Mooresburg Road, Danville, died at 5:12 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Riverwoods, Lewisburg, where she resided for 15 years.

Born on August 2, 1918 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Amelia (Mauger) DeWalt. She was a 1936 graduate of Danville High School.

She was a member of the Mooresburg United Methodist Church.

Eugenia was preceded in death by her husband, Grant L. Freas on May 8, 1990; a brother, Samuel DeWalt and a sister, Emma James.

Surviving is a daughter, Kathleen, wife of Richard C. Estes, Mooresburg.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Mooresburg United Methodist Cemetery with Pastor Anne Geschwinder, her former pastor, officiating. There will be no calling hours.
