Elsa Louise (Watts) Eveland

Elsa Louise (Watts) Eveland, age 95, formerly of Bloomsburg, died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2021 at The Gardens at Orangeville, where she had been a guest since October 27, 2015.

Born In Bloomsburg on June 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Florine (Kitchen) Watts. She was a 1945 graduate of Bloomsburg High School. She resided in Mahoning Twp., Montour Co. from 1955 to 2005 when she moved back to Bloomsburg.

Elsa was a member of Bloomsburg Christian Church. She was a Mary Kay and Avon Consultant. Elsa loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, she even traveled to Europe to see her sons while they were in the military.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul Elery Eveland, on November 1, 2004, a granddaughter, Noel Eveland and a brother Glen R. Watts.

Surviving are five children: David R. Eveland, and his wife Cathy, Johnson City, Tenn; Donald D. Eveland, and his wife Marie, Mesa Ariz; Darlene A., wife of Ronald Stanchock, Catawissa; Diane E., wife of William Kosa, Gwinn, Mich, and Nancy J. Weidensaul, Danville. Six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Dean W. Kriner., Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor Eric J. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m.
