Eleanor I. Salsman, age 83, of Danville, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Grandview Healthcare & Rehabilitation, Danville.
Born on May 20, 1936 in Mahoning twp., she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Gertrude (Myers) Fausnaught. She was a lifelong resident of the Danville area.
Eleanor was last employed by the Geisinger Medical Center housekeeping department. She previously worked for the former Danville Silk Mill.
She enjoyed church services and playing bingo at the nursing home.
Eleanor was preceded in death by three brothers: William, Ezra and Charles Fausnaught.
She is survived by a daughter, Trudy, wife of Clinton Herrold, Berwick; son, Glenn A. Salsman, and his wife Julie, Selinsgrove; four grandchildren: Clinton Herrold, Trudy Herrold, Courtney Salsman and Matthew Salsman; two great grandchildren: Lawrence Dennes and Aria Salsman; sister, Joan, wife of Martin Concini, Danville; and brother, Thomas Fausnaught, Danville.
At her request, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
