Edwin A. Mosloskie, 77, 265 Dixie Drive, Haines City, Fla., passed away suddenly on Friday, February 27, 2009, at the Celebration Hospital, Kissimmee, Fla.

Born on January 30, 1932, in Marion Heights, Northumberland County, he was a son of the late Walter and Carrie (Matler) Mosloskie. He resided in Florida for 22 years and formerly lived at Hobbie in Luzerne County.

Ed was a partner in S&E Concrete, Mountaintop for 20 years before moving to Florida in 1987.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Ed was loved by all who knew him and will be missed greatly.

Surviving are his wife, the former Joan Force, with whom he celebrated his 56th wedding anniversary on August 2, 2008; a sister, Carrie Geffert, Easton; and many nieces and nephews.

Ed was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances McCleary and Nellie Bills and two brothers: Charles Mosloskie and Earl Mosloskie.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 13 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bloomsburg Christian Church, 107 Deussen Drive, Bloomsburg, with Pastor Eric J. Miller officiating. There will be no viewing. A time of fellowship will follow the services. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge, at the convenience of the family.

The family will provide flowers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
