Edward E. Hutton

Edward E. Hutton 82, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

He was born on June 25, 1943 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania to Russel and Phyllis Fornwald Hutton.

Growing up, Ed spent time between the Bloomsburg area and Tampa, Florida. He eventually moved to Benton, Pennsylvania and married the former June L. Young. They had celebrated 36 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife and parents, Ed was preceded in death by brothers, Tim, Chuck, Russell “Sonny”, Richard “Dick” and Steven Hutton, Florida; sisters, Gloria and Clarissa Hutton, Bloomsburg, Cindy Hutton, Catawissa and Susan Fernandez, Florida; and granddaughters, Mariah and Haley Gearhart, Lightstreet.

He will be missed by his daughters, Sheila (John) Gearhart, Lightstreet and Annette (Bud Jr.) Rainier, Muncy; grandsons, Jordan Rainier, Cyler Wedge, Nathan Rainier; granddaughter, Marley Gearhart; great grandchildren, Penelope and Lane Albertson; brother, Mike Hutton, Alabama; and sisters, Gayann Hutton, Florida and Dianne “Jane” Allen, Bloomsburg.

At the request of the family, no services will be held. Science Care will be handling his remains.
