E. Lucille Strausser

E. Lucille (Fausey)  Strausser, age 86, 280 1/2 E. Eighth St., Bloomsburg, died at 12:42 p. m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, at Brookdale Senior Living in Scott Township where she was  a guest.

Born in Jackson Township, Columbia County, on April 28, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Vernon H. and Blanche (Stedman) Fausey. She spent her early life in the Derr's area and was a 1951 graduate of Millville High School.

Lucy was employed by Milco Industries, Inc., Bloomsburg for many years prior to retiring.

Her hobbies were knitting and genealogy.

Lucy was preceded in death  by her husband, Paul M. Strausser on March 16, 2013 and by two brothers: Kenneth R. Fausey and James V. Fausey.

She is survived by two daughters: Nina A., wife of Douglas Schosker, Osceola, Ind. and Molly K., wife of Vincent Sidoti, Hunlock Creek; a son Paul M. "Mick" Strausser, Bloomsburg; six grandchildren: Bryan Schosker, and his wife Megan, Nicholas Schosker, Dylan Sidoti, Kylie Sidoti, Brooks Strausser, Madison Strausser; four great-grandchildren;  two sisters: Betty Flatt, Benton  and Barbara Fuehrer, Hawley; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in the Freewill Cemetery, Kulp Road, Catawissa, with Rev. Gregory D. Moore officiating.
