Douglas R. Weeks, 75, of Riverside and formerly of Washingtonville, died Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on January 12, 1950, he was a son of the late Floyd and Marjorie (Swartz) Weeks. He recently moved to Riverside after residing in Washingtonville for 15 years and New Jersey prior to that.
Douglas was a graduate of Cranford High School in Cranford, New Jersey in 1958 and received his B. S. degree from St. Lawrence University in New York.
During his working life, he was a restaurant owner, massage therapist and real estate agent.
He was a member of the Redeemer Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Danville. He was a family man enjoying the time he spent his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Susan Connors, on September 7, 2006.
Surviving are two sons: Douglas C. Weeks and his wife Priscilla of Summerlawn Key, Florida and Ryan F. Weeks and his wife Amber, with whom he resided in Riverside; a step daughter, Meghan wife of Stephen Parker of Marietta, Georgia; eight grandchildren: Winston Weeks, Elena Weeks, Vivienne Weeks, Adaline Weeks, Declan Weeks, Kenzi Weeks, Finn Weeks, Pepper P Parker and a brother, Dwight Weeks of New Jersey.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
