Dorothy B. (Mikolinis) Karpinski

Dorothy B. (Mikolinis) Karpinski, 92 of Carroll Park, Bloomsburg passed away on Saturday evening, November 29, 2025 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on August 10, 1933 in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Cyron) Mikolinis. She was a 1951 graduate of Nanticoke High School and resided in Bloomsburg since 1967,

Dorothy was employed at the former Bloomsburg Bank Columbia Trust Co. as a teller for 35 years retiring in 2016.

She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg. She was an avid Penn State football fan and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and embraced her Polish heritage.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Andrew J. Karpinski, E. D. on March 25, 2008 ending a marriage of 52 years and three brothers, Edward Mikolinis, Joseph Mikolinis Theodore Mikolinis.

Dorothy is survived by four sons: Andrew J. Karpinski of Florida; Dr. Michael J. Karpinski and his wife Lois of Bloomsburg; Dr. Mark A. Karpinski and his wife Ruth of North Carolina; David P. Karpinski and his wife Dana of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren: Erik Karpinski, Ryan Karpinski, Alexander Karpinski and Brittany Cutro; two step grandchildren: Brenna Keller and Chad Gorby; two great grandchildren: Quinn Cutro and Rhett Cutro; and a sister Theresa Penxa of Nanticoke.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11 a. m. in St. Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron St., Bloomsburg by her pastor, Rev. Richard J. Mowery. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery.

The family will provide flowers. Memorials may be sent to St. Columba Catholic Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
