Doris J. (Brubaker) Boltz

Doris J. (Brubaker) Boltz, age 84, of Bloomsburg died Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Sunset Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Bloomsburg.

Born on September 8, 1937 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Pauline (Soyster) Brubaker.

Doris was a graduate of Holidaysburg High School and received a batcher’s degree from the former Lock Haven State College, now Lock Haven University.

She was an English teacher at Warrior Run School District, Jim Thorpe School District, and Wilson School District in Berks County, retiring in 1994. Following retirement she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and in 2020 she moved to Berwick, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boltz.

Doris is survived by her son, Brecht Lesher and his wife Esther of Las Vegas; a granddaughter, Amy wife of Brent Lesher of Las Vegas; a great-granddaughter Melody; a brother, Dean Brubaker and his wife Grace of Holidaysburg, Pennsylvania and a sister, Arlene wife of Gordon Robinson of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

Interment will be made in Nevada.
