Donald E. Slobig

Donald E. Slobig, age 75, of Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2025 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on June 17, 1950 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Donald Carl and Mary Jane (Gearhart) Slobig.

Donald was employed by Wise Foods Inc. in Berwick for 33 years.

He was a social member of the American Legion Valley of Bloomsburg Post 273.

Donald loved music and his dog.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda J. (Karchner) Slobig, on March 29, 2022.

Donald will be missed by several close friends and neighbors. He was the last of his immediate family.

Private graveside services will be held in Mifflinville Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
