Donald L. Ebner, age 87, of Columbia Blvd., Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday July 5, 2025 at his home.
Born on September 10, 1937 in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Edward W. and Mary E. (Loreman) Ebner. Donald was a graduate of Central Columbia High School and resided in Bloomsburg for most of his life. Earlier in his life, he resided in Orangeville.
Donald served in the U.S. Air Force from August 1955 to August 1963 during the Vietnam War. He was an Air Freight Specialist and stationed in Okinawa, Japan as a Load Master. He received a Good Conduct Medal and an Air Force Outstanding Unit Award for his service.
Donald was self-employed as a general contractor for more than 30 years.
An avid wood worker, he also enjoyed mowing with a zero-turn lawn mower, puttering around outside, and watching old time westerns.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith “Judy” (Lenhart) Ebner, on August 20, 2002; and daughter, Teresa A. Temple, on July 28, 2016.
Surviving are three daughters, Lisa A., wife of Michael McCay, Kristine A., wife of Randall Wolff, and Kirsti A., wife of Timothy Kritzer, all of Bloomsburg; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his companion, Carol Widger, of Catawissa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
