Diane I. Keefer

Diane I. Keefer, age 79, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Sunday evening February 19, 2023 at the Bloomsburg Care & Rehabilitation Center, where she had resided since September 2018.

Born in Danville on January 4, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Howard E. and Ernestine V. (Boyer) Jones. She was a 1962 graduate of Slatington High School.

Diane was last employed by the Giant supermarket in Bloomsburg. She previously drove a cab for the former K-Cab in Bloomsburg.

Diane loved jigsaw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Karlene L. Linn, and a brother, Richard E. Jones.

Diane is survived by two sisters: Dee Dei Flunbuth, of Nashville, Tenn., and Sharon Frankowski, of Wilkes-Barre; cousin, Donna Pyle, of Selinsgrove; nephew, Michael Linn, of Bloomsburg; and close friends, John and Jessica Sikalias, of Millville, as well as her Bloom Diner family, whom will miss her dearly.

A viewing will be held on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. at the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.  Private interment will be made in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
