Diana Jane (Hutton) Allen

Diana Jane (Hutton) Allen, age 82, of Wagner Drive, Danville died peacefully at her home late Saturday evening, October 24, 2026.

Born in Bloomsburg on October 7, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Phyllis (Fornwald) Hutton. She resided in the Bloomsburg Area much of her lifetime except for several years when she resided in Florida.

Diana was employed by the former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc., and at several local sewing factories. Her last employment was at Burger King in Buckhorn.

She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed sewing for her family.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Allen on March 26, 2021.

Surviving are two children: James C. Wells and his wife Angela of Bloomsburg and Melinda McHenry of Wilkes Barre.; six grandchildren: Shana McHenry, Taylor McHenry, Dalton McHenry, Shane Wells, Joshua Wells, Benjamin Wells and his wife Maranda; four great grandchildren: Bryar Wells, Remington Wells, Maverick Wells, Benjamin Wells; a sister, Gayann wife of Jeff Crane, Gibsonton, Florida, a brother Michael Hutton of Alabama and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 1 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg with Rev. Steven C. Hummel, pastor of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Bloomsburg officiating. Interment will follow in Columbia Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m.
