Dennis L. Adams

Dennis L. Adams, age 80, of Millwood Dr., Danville, passed away on Thursday March 19, 2026 at Highlands Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in LaPorte.

Born on May 22, 1945 in Reading, he was the son of the late LeRoy C. and Ellen M. (Frey) Adams. He was a 1963 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington. He also graduated from Bloomsburg State College. He resided in Danville for 49 years.

Dennis was a Social Studies and History teacher at Danville Area School District for 32 years, retiring in 2005. During his tenure, he coached the football and track and field teams.

He served in the U.S. Air Force as a S/SGT Crew Chief for maintenance on B 58’s in Vietnam.

Dennis was an avid Notre Dame football fan. He loved all types of airplanes.

Surviving is his wife, the former Emma Jane (Morgan) Adams, with whom he celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on December 2, 2025; daughter, Shana Adams, and her significant other, Carl Persing, of Shamokin; sister, Anita, wife of Donald Cook, of Coatesville; brother, Leonard Adams, of Bethel; and brother, Randy Adams, and his wife Kim, of Kutztown.

At Dennis’ request there will be no funeral services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville.
