David A. Moore

David A. Moore, age 51, of Riverside, was pronounced dead at his home on June 13, 2016.

Born in Danville on September 21, 1964, he was a son of the late Charles and Thea (Krum) Moore. A resident of Riverside for the last six years, he previously resided in Berwick for 14 years, and Bloomsburg earlier in life. He attended Bloomsburg High School.

David was a proud dishwasher at Old Forge Brewing Company, Danville for the last 7 and a half years.

He was a life member of Defender Fire Co., Berwick.

David enjoyed listening to country music and being around people; and was a collector of Native American Culture.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Moore and a sister, Fietta Nietz.

Surviving is a brother, Robert J. “Bob” Moore, wife Kim, Riverside; nephew, Greg B. Moore, wife Julie, Sunbury; niece, Danielle I. Moore, Bloomsburg; three great-nephews: Zachary Moore, Brandon Moore and Elijah Moore, all of Sunbury; and a brother-in-law, Ron Nietz, Bloomsburg.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville, with Rev. Dominic A. Mammarella, retired Catholic priest, officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 6-7 p.m.
