David C. Michael

David C. Michael, age 51, of Berwick (Salem Township), passed away on Thursday May 21, 2026 at his home.

David was born on February 17, 1975, in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. He moved to Berwick in 1984 and attended the Berwick Area School District from 1984 to 1991. He later completed high school in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, graduating from North Penn High School in 1993.

David proudly served in the United States Army for four years, including time stationed in Hawaii. Following his military service, he pursued a career in nursing, earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bloomsburg University and later completing his master’s degree in nurse anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina. He spent his professional career working in North Carolina.

David was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Malisa, in 1990, and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Barbara Kurian.

He will be deeply missed by his loving family: his mother, Cynthia Ziagos; his sister, Melanie B. Lear of Berwick; his sister, Maureen C. Killoran of Oregon; his brother, Sean D. Killoran of Hawaii; his niece and nephews, Audra Lear and Ethan Lear of Berwick, and Kai Killoran of Hawaii; his stepfather, John Killoran of Berwick; and his beloved Labrador, Lana.

David will be remembered for his laughter, his love of wrestling and surfing, and the happiness he found spending time near the ocean.

At David’s request, there will be no services.
