Darlene M. Mazurkiewicz

Darlene M. (Beck) Mazurkiewicz, age 64, of 1047 Upper Raven Creek Road, Benton, died at her home and was pronounced dead  of natural causes at 1:50 p. m. Saturday, Jan.25, 2020.

Born in Somerville, New Jersey on Oct. 31, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Delores (Gore) Beck.  She resided in Benton Township for 19 years and previously lived in Nanticoke.

Darlene was a 1973 graduate of Bridgewater East High School, Bridgewater, N.J. She was last employed as a clerk at the former Riverside Market in Benton.

She loved her grandchildren and  derived great joy from buying them things.  She also volunteered at the Raven Creek Trade Post before she was disabled.

Surviving are her husband, John A. Mazurkiewicz,  with whom she would have observed their 39th wedding anniversary on Feb. 13, 2020; s son, John A. Mazurkiewicz, Jr., Pittston; a daughter, Melissa D., wife of Jesse Erb, Orangeville; three grandchildren: Gwendelyn Erb, Braylon Erb, Gavin Erb;  two sisters: Linda, wife of Paul Arsenyevictz, Benton and Sarah Beck, Bridgewater, N.J. , a brother Melvin Beck, and his wife Sarah, Benton; and a number of nieces and nephews

.Private services will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Benton.
