Dale L. Lawton

Dale L. Lawton, age 67, 188 Peppermill Road, Bloomsburg, died at 8:22 a. m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was a patient for one week.

Born on February 18, 1950 at the Geisinger Medical Center, he was a son of the late Edward H. and Marie E. (Zeisloft) Lawton. He was a 1968 graduate of Millville High School.

Dale was a lifelong farmer.  He was  very caring to his friends and neighbors and always jovial.  He was always  quick to smile or tell a story or two.  He was an avid hunter.

Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Larue E. Lawton.

Dale is survived by a  number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2 p. m. in the Dutch Hill Cemetery in Madison Township, with Pastor Timothy S. Perry of the Victory Baptist Church, Bloomsburg officiating.  At Dale's request, there will be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W.  Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
