Colleen M. Renn, age 67, of Shamokin, passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2024 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on November 24, 1956 in Mahoning Township, Montour County, she was the daughter of the late Tony and Anne (Hollister) Patrick. A 1974 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School, she was a resident of Shamokin and a former resident of Strong and Marion Heights.

Colleen was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Peter Birster and by a brother, Michael Patrick.

Surviving are her three children, Daniel “Jeff” Renn and his fiancé, Krystal, of Sunbury, Breanne Birster, and her fiancé Greg Kazemka, of Catawissa, and Peter R. Birster, and his fiancé Tara Anderson, of Shamokin; six grandchildren: Chloee, Cailah, Liam, Hailey, Chloe, and Everlee; a sister, Louanne, wife of Mike Sincavage, of Florida; and a brother, William Patrick, and his wife Darlene, of Shamokin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 47 S. Market St, Mt. Caramel, PA 17851. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mt. Carmel. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. There will be a reception following the burial.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
