Charles P. “Chuck” Wagner, 74 of Center Street, Bloomsburg passed away on Saturday evening, April 19, 2025, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Berwick on December 7, 1950, he was the son of the late Charles P. and Julia S. (Laux) Wagner. He was a 1968 graduate of Berwick High School and a 1976 graduate of the former Bloomsburg State College.

Chuck was employed as a sales representative for Marchon, Inc., an optical company.

He was a former president of the Lake Pine Crest Sportsman Club. He was also very active in the Bloomsburg Town Park Improvement Association serving as president for a number of years. He loved to cook and spend time with his dog, Betty.

Chuck proudly served his country by serving in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Beth Rodriguez and a brother John P. Wagner.

He is survived by his wife, the former Susan P. Fox, with whom he observed their 15thy wedding anniversary on October 10, 2025, two daughters: Megan Wagner of Henderson, Nevada and Abigail Lynn Sproehnle of Mifflinville; a step- daughter, Cathy Fry of Orangeville, a stepson, Richard J. Lee of Erie; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, three sisters: Carole Balliet of Nescopeck, Mary Lou wife of Robert Croop of Hobbie, Patricia J. Sponenberg of Espy and a number of nieces and nephews.

At Chuck’s request there will be no formal services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburtg.
