Charles A. Stine, 84, of Ridge Drive, Danville died on September 8, 2025 at the Sunset Ridge Heath Care & Rehabilitation Center in Bloomsburg.

Born in Cooper Township, Montour County on July 11, 1941, he was a son of the late Millard and Susan Stine. He spent his entire life in the Danville area and was a 1959 graduate of Danville High School.

Charles was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for almost 40 years.

He was a member of American Legion Post 40 of Danville and was a past Commander. He loved to hunt, fish and gardening.

Charles proudly served his country as a member of the U. S. Air Force from July 1959 to July 1963.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Charla B. Diehl on February 24, 2019 ending a marriage of 40 years.

Surviving are two sons: Charles A. Stine, Jr. and his wife Kim and Casey A. Stine and his wife Nicole, all of Danville; nine grandchildren: Carley A. Stine, Carter Stine, Hunter Stine, Sadie Stine, Zeke Stine, Uriyah Stine, Max Stine, Janell Stine and Travis Stine; several great grandchildren and two sisters: Shirley Stigerwalt in Alaska and Joyce Neitz of Danville.

In keeping with Charles wishes, there will be no funeral services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133, Bloom Road, Danville.
