Charles A. Ingra, age 78, of 5 Laurie Lane, Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday August 11, 2022 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on November 1, 1943 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Anne (Matula) Ingra. Charles resided in South Centre Township for the past two years and previously resided in Kenilworth, NJ for over 50 years. He graduated High School in Kenilworth.

He was last employed by Fischer Scientific Co. in Springfield, NJ as a supervisor. He was also a Jazz musician and had a band called Lavender Blue.

Charles was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Espy. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion in New Jersey and played the bugle at many veterans events.

He is survived by his wife, Nikki P. Prescott-Ingra, with whom he celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on February 14, 2022, and a brother, Kenneth Ingra, and his wife Barbara, of Wanaque, NJ.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, with his pastor, Rev. Gordon E. Smith, officiating. Interment will be made at the convenience of the family in Graceland Cemetery, Kenilworth, NJ.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
