Charla B. Stine

Charla B. (Diehl) Stine, age 63, of 16 Office Drive, Danville,  died at 11:23 p. m. Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Geisinger Medical Center,  Danville, where she was a patient.

 Born in Hazleton on Feb.6, 1956, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Nancy W. (Rowand) Diehl. She was a 1974 graduate of West Hazleton High School and also of  the Hazleton State General Hospital School of Nursing. She resided in Danville for 40 years.

Charla was a Registered Nurse and was last employed at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

A baptized Catholic, she loved horses,, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She also was an accomplished swimmer.

Surviving are her husband, Charles A. Stine, Sr., with whom she observed her 39th wedding anniversary in April, 2018; a son, Casey A. Stine and his partner, Nichole Musselman, Danville; a daughter Carly A. Stine, Danville; six grandchildren: Carter Stine and  Hunter Stine of Danville; Sadie Stine and Zeke Stine, both of Lewistown; Max Stine, Danville,  Uriyah Musselman, Danville: a daughter-in-law, Samantha Yetter, Lewistown; and two brothers: George H. Diehl, Richmond, Va. and Edward E. Diehl, Jr., and his wife Wendy, Racine, Wis.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville. Friends may call from 10-11 a. m.
