Cecelia M. Tanner

Cecelia M. Tanner, age 91, of Danville, died at the Emmanuel Center for Nursing at 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Born in Trevorton,  on July 30, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John and Genevieve (Shuck) Kurtz.

Cecelia was employed by the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, for a number of years prior to retiring.

She is survived by two sons: Dennis Tanner, and his wife Valerie, Danville, and LeRoy Tanner, and his wife Deanna, Carlisle; daughter, Marie, wife of Thomas Eiswerth, Danville; stepson, Gary Tanner, wife Debbie, Danville; stepdaughter, Debra Ondrisek, Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Thomas Kurtz, and his wife Gina, Lewisburg.

There are no funeral services.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville.
