Carol L. (McCormick) Lewis

Carol L. (McCormick) Lewis, age 75 of Roaring Creek Road, Danville died at her home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 after an illness.

Born in Mahoning Township, Montour County on October 28, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Cora (Andrews) McCormick. She was a lifelong resident of the Danville area and a graduate of Danville High School.

Carol was last employed by CMSU as a caseworker.

She enjoyed playing bingo and cards as well as trips to the Atlantic City casinos. Her time with her family was also very important to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Lewis on January 23, 2021; a grandson, Nicholas Albertson; two brothers, Dale McCormick and Raymond McCormick and by two sisters, Lois Dalton and Connie McCormick.

Carol is survived by a daughter, Denice, wife of Douglas Hess of Millville, a son, Brian Frantz and his fiancé Brenda Albertson of Danville; five grandchildren: Nadeane Fry, Derek Fry, Zoey Albertson, Brianna Frantz, Nickolas Frantz; and three great-grandchildren: Loralei Albertson, Lyncoln Gordner, Priscilla Rojas; five siblings: Wanda wife of Kenneth Rupp, Jerry McCormick, David McCormick and his wife Mina and twins, Arlene Mensch and Marlene Brady, all of Danville.

In keeping with the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral services.
