Candace D. Stokley, 69, of West Front Street, Berwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Rochester, New York on January 7, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Blaine B. and Shirley D. (Roberts) Stokley. Candace was also raised by her grandmother, Beatrice Stauffer. She was a 1974 graduate of Central Columbia High School. In high school she was distinguished as a varsity softball player.

Candace was last employed in the mail room of the Fidelis Care in Latham, New York. Earlier she was employed in shipping and receiving by Evident Technologies of Troy, New York and Benco Dental of Bear Creek. She was the first female box car builder at Berwick Forge & Fabricating.

She enjoyed fishing, exploring nature and visiting museums and other attractions in upstate New York and New England. She also enjoyed attending movies and spending time at home with her wife and her beloved pets. 

Surviving is her wife, Lynn Goldberg, to whom she was married on October 22, 2011; two step daughters: Rebekah Lieberman of Berwick and Rachel, wife of J. Alex Cook, Orlando, Florida; a great granddaughter, April Cook; a brother Terry Stokley of Lime Ridge; a sister, Vicki Myers-Featherman of Berwick; and an aunt, Bonnie Stauffer of Bloomsburg. She was predeceased by a sister, Bebe Peters of Berwick.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 3 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg with the Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy officiating. Friends may call from 2-3 p. m.
