C. Dale Laubach

C. Dale Laubach, age 84, 30 Clifton Drive (Sherwood Village), Bloomsburg, passed away at his home at 10:15 a. m. Monday, March 6, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 19, 1932 in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Carlton and Mabel A (Kreidler) Laubach. He resided in Bloomsburg over 60 years and  was a 1950  graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Dale was the owner of Laubach Dental Lab, Bloomsburg, for over 50 years, retiring in 1997.

A member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg, for over 60 years, he also was a life member of the Bloomsburg Fireman's Relief Association.

Dale was an avid grouse hunter and fly fisherman. He enjoyed camping and traveling in his motor home, especially visiting the National Parks on his many trips out west. He also loved his many fishing and camping trips with friends and relatives, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; two sisters: Natalie Starr and Nancy O. Laubach; and a brother Merton W. Laubach.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Kauffman, with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage on June 25, 2016; three children: Daniel B. Laubach, Bloomsburg; Cathy, wife of Nabil Arnaout, Frederick, Md.; Amy Kofskie, Elysburg; four grandchildren: Mark Arnaout, and his wife Karen; Lindsay, wife of Jose Alarcon; Jonathan Kofskie; Justin Kofskie; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in Wesley United Methodist Church, Market & West Third Streets, Bloomsburg, with his pastor, Rev. Dr. Gary D. Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a. m. Please use West Third Street entrance.
