Beverly Ann Seybert, 73, of Danville and formerly of Bloomsburg passed away, May 19, 2025, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on December 29, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Rita M. (Pecora) Seybert. She was a 1969 graduate of Bloomsburg High School and received her B. S. degree in nutrition from Mansfield State College in 1973.
Beverly was employed at the former Bloomsburg Hospital for several years as a dietician in the cafeteria. She joined the staff at St. Columba Church in 1984 and served as financial manager until retiring in 2019. She also spoke to senior groups about nutrition for several years.
She was a lifelong faithful member of St. Columba Catholic Church in Bloomsburg. She also belonged to the Bloomsburg Civic Club for many years.
Beverly enjoyed traveling and walking. She could frequently be seen walking the streets of Bloomsburg and later in Danville. On her walks she would enjoy nature and observe the animals and plants.
She was featured in Geisinger Medical Center advertising in the newspaper, on television and on billboards sitting on a bench by the Susquehanna River with Danville’s community cat, Buddy, by her side.
Beverly enjoyed spending time with her friends and eating out with them.
Surviving are several cousins.
She appreciated her family and friends for being a part of her life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11 a. m. in St. Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron St., Bloomsburg by Rev. Patrick A. Devine. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
